Meet Our Staff
Pastor - Terri Haas
Pastor Terri Haas grew up in Florida and graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in Music Education. She taught middle school chorus, drama, and dance for five years before realizing that God was calling her to a different path. She worked full time as the Director of Music at Community United Methodist Church in Fruitland Park, FL where she received her call into pastoral ministry. She attended Boston University School of Theology where she graduated in 2016 with a Master’s of Divinity. While there, she met with two District Superintendents from the Illinois Great Rivers Conference and agreed to move sight unseen to the Midwest! She has served at Salem Trinity United Methodist Church and at Iuka United Methodist Church and is now happy to be serving in Tuscola.
Administrative & Financial Secretary - Lora Zimmer
After several years in the banking industry, I joined the staff of TUMC in 2007. My husband, Rodney, and I have two children who keep us busy with their activities. My least favorite part of my job is trying to manage the church calendar – TUMC is a very happenin’ place! But my favorite part of my job is getting to know all the people who are a part of TUMC – I feel like they are part of my extended family!
Children & Youth Ministry - Taylor Radtke
Hey, everyone. My name is Taylor Radtke, and I am looking forward to meeting/being part of the Tuscola United Methodist Church family. My background is with Family, Children’s, and Youth ministry, in missionary work, in working with underprivileged children and teens from the South Side of Chicago, and as an educator teaching outdoor education, environmental education, and English in Poland. Working with kids and families is my passion. Furthermore, I am currently going to school as a ministry major to expand my knowledge and relationship with Christ. I look forward to meeting everyone and working with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
