Learn how to join us as we make disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Children’s Ministry mission for Tuscola United Methodist Church is to guide the children of our church and our community to learn, believe, accept, and share God’s word. We have Children’s Church available each Sunday during service. All children from Kindergarten through third grade are welcome to join us when we exit the sanctuary after Children’s Time. Children’s Ministry is under the direction of Cheryl Warren and the Children’s Council. This council plans for programs, education, and activities to meet the needs of all children and to help them grow in their Christian faith.

Anyone ages 6-12th grades are welcome to join us as we play games and have social time and a lesson. There are also lots of other activities that are available for youth to participate in. We hope that youth will join us to begin, deepen, or strengthen their faith as they move throughout their teenage lives.

MOPs (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPs was created as a space for moms of young children to connect in fellowship and share in the journey of motherhood. We know, as moms, there are struggles, challenges, and also great joys that we experience as we raise our children. MOPs of TUMC meets the second Thursday of each month, September through May, from 9-11:00 AM. At each meeting, we discuss topics important to us as mothers, share our joys and concerns, pray with each other, make crafts, build relationships, and eat a hot breakfast uninterrupted! We host guest speakers as well as participate in local community service projects and support organizations in other countries. We also provide opportunities to connect with each other outside of our regular meeting times at Kids Day, play dates, and Moms Night Out events. Here at MOPs, our mission is to share the love of Jesus as we navigate this journey of motherhood together. Here, we become a tribe of women who support, encourage, and love each other. We’d love to see you at our next meeting – we’ll have the coffee on for you!

United Methodist Men
The ministry of Tuscola United Methodist Men is defined as a group of men, partnering with their pastor to invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces, and areas of interest. Therefore, opportunities for participation would include diverse ministries of the church.
Our mission is to support spiritual growth among men to help men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others.
Our goal is to empower the ministry of Jesus Christ through men within the congregation of the Tuscola United Methodist Church.
We meet at 6 PM on the third Wednesday of the months of January through May, September, and October.
United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women are a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
